Hervelles Veyra setup guide.
Use this guide to install, customize, test, and prepare Hervelles Veyra before publishing it on a Shopify store.

Install the Theme
- In Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes.
- Select Add theme, then upload the Hervelles Veyra theme ZIP file.
- Wait for Shopify to finish processing the upload.
- Open Preview or Customize before publishing the theme.
Upload the Shopify theme ZIP that contains folders such as assets, config, layout, sections, snippets, and templates at the ZIP root.

Customize Before Publishing
Before publishing, review the homepage, product page, collection page, cart, FAQ, contact page, and any content pages you plan to use.
- Add your logo and brand colors.
- Replace demo copy with your own store content.
- Upload product and editorial images.
- Review desktop and mobile previews.
- Test cart and checkout entry points using Shopify preview tools.

Header and Navigation
Use Shopify navigation menus to control header links. In Shopify admin, open Content, then Menus, and create or edit the menu you want to display.
- Keep navigation labels short and clear.
- Review mobile navigation after adding links.
- Add your logo from Theme settings, then Brand.
- Use the announcement bar for concise shipping, store, or collection updates.

Homepage Setup
The homepage is built with editable Shopify sections. You can add, remove, reorder, and customize sections inside the theme editor.
- Start with the hero editorial section and upload a clear brand image.
- Use featured collection to highlight selected products.
- Add founder-led content with founder note and founder story sections.
- Use product benefits, testimonials, press logo strip, newsletter signup, and bundle promotion sections as needed.
- Remove sections that do not match your current store content.

Product Page Setup
The product page uses editable blocks for title, vendor, price, variant picker, quantity selector, buy buttons, description, benefits, collapsible rows, custom Liquid, and app blocks.
- Add product images and videos in Shopify product admin.
- Use product descriptions for essential selling information.
- Use optional product metafields for details such as care, ingredients, materials, routine step, scent profile, or sustainability notes.
- Empty optional fields are designed to hide cleanly.
- Review variants, price, inventory status, and add-to-cart behavior before publishing.

Collection Page Setup
Collection pages display collection title, description, image when available, sorting, filters when available, product cards, and pagination.
- Add collection images for a more polished collection hero.
- Use clear collection descriptions to guide shoppers.
- Check product card titles, vendors, sale prices, and sold-out states.
- Preview collections with different product counts.

Cart Page
The cart page uses Shopify-native cart behavior where possible. It includes product images, item titles, variant details, quantity controls, remove links, subtotal, checkout button, and a shipping note area.
- Add test items to the cart and review quantity changes.
- Check empty cart behavior.
- Review cart layout on mobile before publishing.

Pages
Hervelles Veyra includes templates for standard pages, contact, FAQ, founder story, and wholesale or stockist content.
- Assign the appropriate template when creating or editing a Shopify page.
- Use the FAQ page for shipping, returns, product care, wholesale, and order questions.
- Use the contact page for customer inquiries, wholesale inquiries, press inquiries, and social links.
- Keep content concise and specific to your store policies.

Images and Media
Use high-quality product and editorial images with enough space around key objects. Hero and editorial sections include image-fit behavior so images can display without unwanted cropping.
- Use bright, clear product images for product pages and collection grids.
- Use editorial images for homepage and story sections.
- Review mobile previews after uploading new images.
- For sections with an Image fit setting, choose Fit full image when you want the entire image visible.
- Use Fill frame only when a cropped editorial composition is intentional.

Theme Settings
Theme settings control global brand, color, typography, layout, product display, announcement bar, footer, and social link options.
- Brand: logo, favicon, tagline, and footer brand text.
- Colors: background, text, accents, buttons, badges, footer, and announcement bar.
- Typography: heading font, body font, size scales, button style, and heading spacing.
- Layout: page width, section spacing, mobile spacing, button radius, card radius, and product grid density.
- Product display: vendor, SKU, sale badge, sold-out badge, inventory message, dynamic checkout buttons, and sticky mobile add-to-cart.

App Blocks
Hervelles Veyra supports Shopify app blocks in compatible theme areas, including product pages and app sections.
- Install and configure apps from Shopify admin.
- Add app blocks inside the theme editor where Shopify makes them available.
- Contact the app developer for app-specific setup or styling issues.
- Test app blocks on desktop and mobile before publishing.

Testing Checklist
- Preview homepage, product page, collection page, cart, search, FAQ, contact, and content pages.
- Test mobile navigation and announcement bar visibility.
- Confirm all homepage sections show your own content.
- Check product variants, quantity selector, add-to-cart button, and dynamic checkout button if enabled.
- Review product images, videos, and optional product details.
- Confirm empty optional content does not leave blank sections.
- Test FAQ accordions with keyboard and touch input.
- Review color contrast and focus states.
- Check cart item updates and checkout entry point.
- Publish only after the preview matches your store content and policies.
